I started my fitness business 'Girl Power Gym' in 2016 specialising in Women's personal training, alongside completing my Premier International Dipolma in Personal Training.
I am passionate about fitness, health and creating a balanced body and mind and I am dedicated to helping others achieve this too.
As a teenager I was unfit, overweight and feared exercise in any form but I started running three times a week and built it up bit by bit, then adding in classes and eventually joined a gym. I lost the weight, but more importantly found my calling and learned so much about myself.
My main love is weight lifting but I also enjoy cardiovascular activities including HIIT. Stretching is so important and often missed out of plans, but it is vital in repairing your body and mind after a good workout, or a hectic day.
I always create personalised plans for each and every client so that it is moulded to your likes, dislikes, current body composition, health & fitness levels and future goals, as well as your strengths and weaknesses. With the right plan and the right help I believe anyone can learn to love fitness and healthy eating and that is what I do. As a nutritional advisor I can also give you advice with regards to your diet to help you achieve your goals!
Girl Power operates from a Private Studio in Burgess Hill so women can get fit, learn new exercises and do so without the pressure of a busy gym. It's only open for Personal Training so it is exclusive to you during sessions.
